You have been asked to turn a sports arena with seating for 5,000 spectators into an exhibit hall. What are some of the types of information that you would need to know? What questions would you ask? What would be some of the event risk management challenges that you would face?

How expensive/affordable is the project, is the building structurally stable, is there room for parking, is the stadium easily accessible, appropriately located, does it have modern plumbing, wiring, is the arena well-maintained, are the seats in good condition, does the arena have room/existing accommodations and does said stadium have a sufficient and up-to-code means of safety (fencing, plexiglass frames around the playing field, sprinkler systems, earthquake resistance)?
Every subject (and possibly some more) in the above listing is going to be brought up in such a project. And these won’t apply only to a sports arena.
